I think that Woo Kwok Hing should not criticise CY Leung. In addition, I think that Woo Kwok HIng will not be a good chief executive. I think that a chief executive should be helpful and need to be responsible.

My ideal chief executive should be respect to citizens' opinion, the chief executive will listen to them and also make responses. In order to break the deadlock between the government and the citizens, a trust from the government towards citizens is needed. The chief executive must be honest and responsible

    1. I agree that Hong Kong is increasingly polarised and fragmented because there are many political movement in recent years. For example the umbrella movement last year. Some people support and some people oppose this movement. Hong Kong is increasingly having more contradition between citizens and the government. Therefore, I think Hong Kong is increasingly polarised and fragmented.
I think Woo Kwok-hing should not criticise the political agenda of Leung Chun Ying because every chief executive has his or her own agenda. I think we are not in a good position to judge whether the political reform is failed and whether this is the root of the problem.

    2. My ideal Chief Executive should be responsible and the interest of Hong Kong always come first because Chief Executive represents Hong Kong and deals with every affair in Hong Kong. Chief Executive should always consider the interest of Hong Kong but not the interest of an individual person. The Chief Executive should also be responsible because he is the head of Hong Kong. If anything serious happen in Hong Kong, the Chief Executive should be responsible for it but not shirk the responsibility to other officials.

I agree that Hong Kong is increasing 'polarized and fragmented' and this is reflected in social media and legislative council.Pro-establishment camp just support government's policies and Democrats oppose all Pro-establishment's policies. This makes Hong Kong polarised and fragmented.Also,Pro-establishment camp and Democrats cause political reform failed.

2.What is your ideal Chief Executive like? What are the most important qualities of a good Chief Executive?

I think a ideal Chief Executive should be respect to others and need to be responsible. The most important qualities of a good Chief Executive are honest,humility,decisive...

    1. Yes ,I agree with Woo Kwok-hing’s view that Hong Kong is increasingly ‘polarised and fragmented’, and that failed political reform is ‘the root of the problem’.Because there are more and more people carry out demonstration in order to reflect their dissapointment and anger on the political reform, umbrella movement is one of the examples of Hong Kong people, who consists workers and secondary students, to express their dissagreements.
    2. My ideal Chief Executive is to satisfy the requirements of Hong Kongers and carry out better reforms to improve daily struggles. Therefore, I think the most important qualities of a good Chief Executive are generous, caring and intelligent.

    1. Yes, I agree with Woo Kwok-hing's view because the government doesn't listen to the citizen's opinions. That's why Hong Kong people always protest on the streets.
    2. In my opinion, my ideal Chief Executive should be thoughtful and always listen to the citizen's opinions. He/She should judge if the citizen's opinions or protests are justified.

    1. Do you agree with Woo Kwok-hing’s view that Hong Kong is increasingly ‘polarised and fragmented’, and that failed political reform is ‘the root of the problem’? Why?

I agree with Woo’s view as many news have mentioned that some citizens support the government whereas some strongly oppose the decisions of the government.

    2. What is your ideal Chief Executive like? What are the most important qualities of a good Chief Executive?

My ideal Chief Executive should be responsible, honest and open-minded. Most importantly, a good CE is willing to listen to different views and balance the interests of different parties.
