Dear all, How to modify the SLP B Report to order the OLE records according to the programme name (Chinese)? I tried to edit the formula @order in the subreport on OLE records by deleting the original contents and replaced by the field of the programme name (in Chinese). It seems that it is not ok. the report print the ole records based on the seq defined in "SLP > Maintenance > Print Sequence > OLE". the easiest way is to update or import the print seq.
Thank you for your suggestion! However, it is very time-comsuming in the print seq. input. I tried to upload the print seq by making use of the Chinese Programme name field (as there is no need to display its contents in my school). Please help and so there is no need to use much clerical resources on this issues. Canyon
I checked the report, the data is generated by a stored procedure which we are not allow to modify. As for the sorting, it has serveral groupings that actually limit the sorting criteria. To sort by Chinese description, first remove all the groups except for the last one (prog_short_en_des), then change the grouping from prog_short_en_des to prog_short_ch_des, then correct all the formula fields using prog_short_en_des. I checked and there are roughly 200 occurences. Then deleted groups need to be added back. So, it is practically rewrite the whole ole report. You may try to modify the report accordingly.
Thank you so much. In fact, I can try to put the printing sequence in another fields which are not displayed in our school SLP. So, is it simple to use prog_short_en_des as the sorting field? Please tell me how to sort by prog_short_en_des in the SLP B report so I can modify the report accordingly (without altering the grouping structure in the original report)
