In fact, I have tried to modify Student Transcript A (R-ASR032-E) myself by putting the subreport Sub-StudentAssessment.rpt in your report provided. However, it cannot show anything at all.

Canyon, For your enquiry about modifying Student Transcript A (R-ASR032-E) so that the print-outs are sorted in class number, you may open "Group Expert" in Crystal Reports after opening the template. Add VW_STU_LATESTSTUDENT.CLASSNO as another group and move it upward to make it a higher priority than VW_STU_LATESTSTUDENT.STUID. After clicking "OK" button, suppress both new Group Header #1 and Group Footer #1.

For the first question, select the subreport you want, right-click and select "Save Subreport As...". After saving the subreport, open your own template and click "Insert -> Subreport" from the menu. For the "Subreport" tab, browse and select the subreport file that has been just stored. For the "Link" tab, choose SUID and STUID from VW_STU_STUPROFILE. I am sorry to tell you that in Student Transcript A (R-ASR032-E) I cannot find the table vm_stu_stuprofile in linking. And I tried to use the field SUID and STUID in another table to link. The printout display a empty table in that sub-report. Canyon
Canyon, I missed that you were talking about R-ASR032. Please refer to pic 3 and pic 4. Original parameters must be selected in "Subreport parameter field to use" and it should be done.
