    Will she really be C Y 2.0 ?
Anyway, she is the first in Hong Kong's history to become the Chief Executive. In Chinese history, we have only a few female leaders like Wu Tza Tien in Tang Dynasty, and Chai Ying-Wen in Taiwan. Now, we have Carrie Lam representing HK. Haha !

    1. What do you think of Hong Kong’s first female Chief Executive and her speech at the inauguration ceremony?
First, about the result, it's fresh to have the first female Chief Executive as this revealed the status of women has risen and it's beneficial to give opportunities to different kinds of people to take up the challenge of ruling HK. Secondly, Carrie Lam is a woman of lofty ideals so she swore that she would uphold the Basic Law dutifully in the inauguration ceremony. I hope she can accomplish her goals and solve the root of HK's problems(e.g. housing, poverty) thoroughly, but not just say without real actions.

    2. There are many female political leaders worldwide. Can you name some?

Park Geun-hye, who is the President of South Korea
Bidhya Bhandari, who is the President of Nepal
Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, who is the President of Liberia

    1. I think healing the rift in the community, as what she said, would be very difficult especially due to the differences in values of various age groups and even among the age groups in HK. I hope she can lead the government well and figure out a way to change the younger generation's impression of the government first and slowly heal the rift and I believe she is very capable of doing so.
    2. Angela Merkel, Dilma Rousseff, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Theresa May
