    1. Soho district is in Central. I have not been in Soho.
    2. Surging rents affect Hong Kong that many stores will close down. I don’t agree with the property agents’ view that the government should not interfere in the free market because we will lose many traditional shops.

    1. Where is Soho district? Have you been to Soho? What ‘unique character’ does it have?
Soho district is in Central. I haven't been to Soho before, but I heard from my friends that there are many different kinds of shops and restaurants there.

    2. How do surging rents affect Hong Kong? Do you agree with the property agents’ view that the government should not interfere in the free market? Why?
Many small shops and restaurants were forced to close down because of the surging rents. I do not agree with the property agents' view. It's because I think the Hong Kong government can adapt some policies to lower the rents in Hong Kong. And I also think that it is the only way to solve this problem.

    2. Surging rent is the biggest problem in Hong Kong. The "Unique character" is not developing capacity.

    1. Soho is in central, but I have never been to their before, therefore I am not quite familiar with its culture.
2.Surging rents causes a lot of shop owners to lose their shop and their job because they cannot afford the rent. I do not agree with the property managers' view that the government should not interfere with the free market. I think that the government has this need to interfere or else the rents will be rising to sky high, and there will only be beauty salons, properties, and fast food restaurants.

    1. It's in Central. No. It is often being seen as the place for entertainment of foreigners.
    2. It has increased the pressure on the shop owners. No, I don't agree. it is because the property market in Hong Kong is insane, if the government does not do anything about it, a lot of shops may close down.

    1. Soho is in central. I have never been to Soho but I know that there are many bars in Soho. As bars open at night and close in morning, the mornings in Soho are quiet but busy at night.
2.Surging rents make small shops, bars and restaurants difficult to open in Hong Kong. Owners do not have enough money to pay for the high rent.

It is in Central and I haven't been there. There are bars everywhere.
    2. How do surging rents affect Hong Kong? Do you agree with the property agents’ view that the government should not interfere in the free market? Why?
The rents have been increasing that people and businessmen cannot afford it.I don't agree it and I think the government should set up policies to slow down the increasing speed of the surging rents in Hong Kong. Therefore, not only bars owner ,but also other Hong Kong people can afford it too.

Soho district is in Central. I have never been there. There are many restaurants in the district.

Many small shops have been closed down or they move to other areas. It has become less convenient to buy cheaper things. Also, the price for everything has increased significantly due to the surging rents. I do not agree that the government should not interfere in the free market. There is a need for government's interference when the livelihood is greatly affected by the market situations.
